Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is the only example at its tier (with none graded higher) among a total of just twenty-five copies in this configuration recorded in PSA's census reporting. It's credibly speculated among hobby scholars that this very rare 1952 Topps baseball card was part of a seldom-seen subset that was produced for the Canadian market. The collectible is printed on distinctive gray cardstock, as opposed to the familiar cream-colored variety. That, and its deep, unsaturated color palette, makes the piece clearly identifiable as the reputed "Canadian" version. (To date, '52 Topps baseball cards spanning the numbers 131-190, inclusive, are the only entries that have been confirmed to exist in this type.) Perhaps the nicest example of its kind extant, in unique Near Mint condition.
