Graded 50 VG/EX 4 by SGC. Hall of Famer, in his debut Topps appearance. This scarce “High Number” collectible reveals splendid coloration in every aspect of the all-important player image. The subject's background field concedes tiny traces of superficial scuffing, but, overall, the piece's surface gloss remains impressive. The card's graphic elements – team logo and caption block – are unblemished. The back is unimpaired, and the corners and edges show generally mild and uniform evidence of respectful circulation. This is a very tempting and attractive piece which is ideal for the middle-grade 1952 Topps set that so many enthusiasts aspire to complete. An especially eye-pleasing copy, in Very Good to Excellent condition.
