This colorful Topps issue is replete with top of the line rookie cards, with Hall of Famers Ernie Banks, Henry Aaron, Al Kaline and Tommy Lasorda all making their initial appearance on a Topps card. Despite not including Mickey Mantle in their set, Topps issued two cards of Ted Williams, which bookend the set with card No. 1 and card No. 250. A total of 10 cards have been graded by SGC. Grades 10% EX or better, 20% VG to VG/EX, 65% GD to GD/VG, 5% lesser. Approximately 60% of the cards have a brown stain in one corner, ranging from a small section of the corner to some cards which cover one-third the surface.
