Offered is this incredible Official American League William Harridge baseball signed by 23 former players Hall of Famers during the 1955 Hall of Fame event. The 1955 Hall of Fame Class saw the inductions of Joe DiMaggio, Frank “Home Run” Baker, Gabby Hartnett, Ted Lyons, Dazzy Vance and Ray Schalk. DiMaggio, Baker, Hartnett, Lyons and Vance have all signed their names in blue pen, while the other Hall of Famers include Tris Speaker (sweet spot, Jimmie Foxx, Max Carey, Frank Frisch (sweet spot), Joe McCarthy (signed on stamped sweet spot), Cy Young, Bill Dickey, Mickey Cochrane, Red Rolfe, Charlie Gehringer (signed Chas. Gehringer), Casey Stengel, Bill Terry, Lefty Gomez, Paul Waner and Johnny Mize. The ball is in good condition, displaying minor toning and the stampings light, but still readable. The signatures are clear and this is a tremendous mid-20th century collection of Hall of Famers. This multi-signed baseball comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AD07547).
