Attempting to win their second straight World Series over the New York Yankees, the Dodgers fell a game short in their quest, losing Game 7 of the 1956 World Series. It was also the series which Don Larsen threw his perfect game. This yellowed Spalding ONL Giles ball contains 17 ink signatures with Snider and Gilliam being clubhouse varieties. All signatures are very light, grading (“2-4”). Includes: Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Sandy Koufax, Billy Herman, Pee Wee Reese, Don Newcombe (twice), Gil Hodges and seven others. Most of the signatures are very light, but many are clearly visible, and ball has heavy gouge on President stamp. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number U01173. Also has JSA sticker on ball, number B95952.
