Few baseball players have had an impact on the sport and the national consciousness like Yogi Berra. Known as much for his famous “Yogi-isms” as his stellar play behind the plate, Berra remains a lasting American icon even half a century after his playing career ended. With 10 World Series victories and 18 All-Star appearances to his name, Berra is one of the most decorated baseball players in the history of the game.

This candle stick holder was presented to Berra, a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 1972, before the 1956 All-Star Game. Berra started this game for the American League, going two for two in a 7-3 National League win at Griffith Stadium. This silver candle stick holder measures approximately 5 ½ inches tall, and is engraved with “All Star Game / Washington / July 10, 1956”. This item comes with a LOA from Steiner Sports, who obtained the candle stick holder directly from the Berra estate.
