After winning Game 1 of the 1956 World Series, the Brooklyn Dodgers faced Don Larsen in Game 2 and spotted the Yankees a 6-0 lead heading to the bottom of the second inning. The Dodgers scored six runs off of Larsen in that inning, with four of those runs being unearned and rode the seven-inning relief effort of Don Bessent to hold off the Yankees 13-8. Larsen, of course, would bounce back in his next World Series start, tossing the only perfect game in World Series and post-season play. This white and yellow ticket with blue and green print has a face value of $2.10 and has five holes punched in it. The ticket has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (21104830) and been graded “VG 3”.
