Professionally framed and matted, this intriguing piece features the player contract of Buddy L. Daley, assigning him from the Padres Exhibition Co, Inc. to the Cleveland Indians Baseball Co. on May 8, 1957. While Buddy Daley may not exactly be a household name, what makes this contract significant is that the representatives who signed the contract for the Padres and Indians were Hall of Fame greats Hank Greenberg and Ralph Kiner.
Though the overall display clearly focuses on the signed contract, the piece also includes two baseball cards each of Kiner and Greenberg to emphasize the legends who signed the contract.
