The New York Yankees were running away with the American League in 1957 when this late season photo was snapped. The approximate 7” x 9” photo features Enos Slaughter, Mickey Mantle, Hank Bauer, Harry “Suitcase” Simpson, Tony Kubek and Elston Howard. These sluggers helped the Yankees to another World Series. Light warping, editor pencil markings and partial newspaper caption, with “SEP 19 1957” and “SEP 21 1957” date stamps.
