Presented here is a signed contract between Duke Ellington and alto saxophone player Johnny Hodges. This contract gave Ellington’s publishing company, Tempo Music, the rights to publish Hodges composition, “Dual Highway”. Ellington signed the last page of the contract in blue pen. This item comes with a LOA from University Archives.
