Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Among nearly 800 copies recorded in PSA’s census reporting, just eight examples have achieved a higher, unqualified tier. Hall of Famer examples from Topps' 1958 set are hard enough to find in high grade, but combine that circumstance with the elusiveness of the much tougher "Yellow Letters" variation, and the perfect recipe for extreme scarcity is achieved. Offered is one of the most desirable "Yellow Letters" cards of all, featuring the batting pose of Bob Clemente. Beautiful white borders complement its bright red and yellow graphics in distinguished, memorable fashion. The card's print is vibrant, well-focused and free of the printing defects so often seen in this challenging category. Centering is superb, all four corners are very sharp and the reverse is vivid and unblemished. A very desirable card, in spectacular Near Mint to Mint condition.
