Among more than 3,100 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting, forty-six examples have been placed at a higher, unqualified tier. The offered piece is one of the most important cards among '59 Topps' high-numbered 7th Series. This item's sharp corners and brilliant color quality combine to yield an incredibly impressive rookie card of the Cardinal Hall of Famer. Additionally, Gibson's image is crisply resolved, and its pastel pink background is completely unblemished. The reverse is correspondingly above criticism.
