The Oakland A’s were the premier baseball team in the early 1970s, winning three consecutive World Series Championships from 1972-1974. This game used bat collection encompasses used bats form the late 1960s, when the A’s were building the foundation of their dynasty, to the 1970s in the middle of that dynasty. Includes: Joe Rudi – 1971 Adirondack un-cracked 170A block letter model bat with “26” and model # on knob; Bert Campaneris – 1971 Adirondack cracked 129A block letter model bat with “19” and model # on knob; Sal Bando – 1965-68 Louisville Slugger cracked/repaired K75 signature model bat with “6” and model # on knob; Bill North – 1973-75 Louisville Slugger cracked U1 signature model bat with model # stamped on knob; Dick Green – 1965-68 Louisville Slugger K55 signature model bat with “1” and model # on knob, plus piece missing off back barrel; Gene Tenace – 1973-75 Louisville Slugger T132C cracked signature model with “18” and model # on knob. Each member of this sextet was starting position players on both 1973 and 1974 World Series championship teams. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
