Former defensive back Willie Daniel spent his first six seasons in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In those six seasons, Daniel recorded 11 interceptions, two fumble recoveries and two touchdowns. This size 44 Rawlings road white jersey was worn by Daniel during the 1962 through 1965 seasons. Daniel’s number “44” is sewn on the front and back in black and yellow tackle twill. The sleeves are yellow with black stripes and Daniel’s “44” sewn on in black tackle twill. The collar is lined in black and the Rawlings tag, along with the wash tag and a “Pittsburgh Sport Shop” tags are sewn on the inside center tail flap. The flap is sewn to the inside of the jersey. The jersey displays solid game use with some team repairs, stains and slight toning due to age. The sleeves appear to have been shortened and tailored. This game used jersey comes with both a COA from Ron Curtis-Pittsburgh Steelers Authentic Memorabilia Game-Used/Memorabilia Manager and has a Steelers Authentic Memorabilia hologram (GU 106353).
