After breaking the "unbreakable" Babe Ruth Home Run record, Roger Maris was subsequently immortalized with this 1962 miniature bobble head. This very high graded 5”-tall paper mache nodder is smiling for a reason. Standing firmly on a white round base decorated with a facsimile signature decal, the Maris figurine showcases vibrant colors and presents at the highest level with only one imperfection, as the very top of Maris' left ear contains a tiny chip. Accompanying this item is the original box which, while it contains one tear on each lid and light staining surrounding the original staples, still features a complete and colorful “Mr. Home Run” decal. This box is extremely difficult to find, and despite these imperfections, the box and statue are considered very high grade and are extremely presentable.
