Presented here is a letter from J. Edgar Hoover to one William M. Alexander of the Pittsburgh field office of the FBI. Hoover congratulates Alexander, and by extension his colleagues in Pittsburgh, on the capture of Clell Arnold Davis, a fugitive attempting to escape from an Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution case. This letter, dated to July 10^th, 1963 and typed on FBI letterhead, has been signed by Hoover in black pen. This item comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C84530).
