Graded VG 3 by SGC. Rookie Card. Perhaps the greatest hitter to ever play the game, Pete Rose is featured here on his iconic, and extremely colorful, 1963 Topps rookie card. This card stands out from other vintage releases due to the yellow background with bright blue marquee, and the fiery red dots that surround the floating head style player portraits. Rumored to be given the nickname “Charlie Hustle” by Mickey Mantle, Pete Rose more than earned the title over 24 seasons in the majors. He stands alone as the all-time leader in hits, games played, plate appearances, and at bats. Very Good condition.
