Former outfielder Vada Pinson had a solid 18-year career, mostly spent with the Cincinnati Reds. Pinson finished his career with a solid .286 batting average and hit 186 home runs. Pinson used this Hillerich & Bradsby C232 model bat during the 1965-1968 seasons, his final years with the Reds, where he averaged 15 home runs, 71 RBI and a solid .289 batting average. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and stitch impressions present on the barrel. The bat’s model number “C232” is stamped on the knob and Pinson’s number “28” is handwritten in faded black marker on the knob and in faded marker on the top barrel. Pinson has signed the barrel in black marker and inscribed above his name “Best Wishes always”. This comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18761) for the game use and has been given the highest possible grade of GU 10. Additionally, there is a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature and inscription. Please note that this item was recently authenticated by Beckett Authentication. An LOA will be pictured in this lot when it is received in our office and will be shipped to the winner.
