The Beatles had a 14-city tour in 1966 with Los Angeles the penultimate date on Aug. 28. The concert sold out and was a success until overwhelming crowds in search of close-up glimpses of the band caused problems with The Beatles trying to exit the stadium. Amazingly, at $6 this was the most expensive ticket of the show, down in the field boxes. The ticket displays well with a clean tear, and very slightly touched corners. Above the ticket is a 10 x 7.25 inch "poster" featuring the four Beatles’ heads on cartoon baseball players’ bodies and larger photos of three of the band members. It reads on the bottom, “KRLA BRINGS THE BEATLES TO DODGER STADIUM, SUNDAY, AUGUST 28TH. MOVE OVER, SANDY”. The display is framed to a dimension of just under 12 x 18 inches.
