Baltimore running back Tom Matte was presented with this official Wilson “The Duke” game used football following the Colts 37-10 victory over the Washington Redskins on November 6, 1966. Matte rushed 13 times for 54 yards and added five catches for 94 yards in the game, played at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore, MD. Handwritten details in faded black marker on one of the blank lower panels of the football read “Colts – 37 Wash. – 10 Nov. 6, 1966 Presented to Tom Matte”. On the blank panel next to this is signed and inscribed “Tom Matte Baltimore Colts #41” in silver paint pen. The football comes with a signed player LOA from Tom Matte.
