1966 Tom Matte Signed Most Valuable Player Award from The NFL (Matte LOA)

Measuring 14 x 16 inches, this plaque award was presented to long time Baltimore Colts running back Tom Matte for his tremendous 1965 season where, due to injuries to both Colts quarterback’s, Matte played quarterback at the end of the season including the Colts playoff game. The plaque is in raised lettering and states, “MOST VALUABLE PLAYER AWARD PRESENTED TO TOM MATTE QUARTERBACK BALTIMORE COLTS BY THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE TOUCHDOWN CLUB OF UTICA, NY MARCH 8, 1966.” Signed on the reverse “Tom Matte Colts 1961-72”, and is in excellent overall condition. This item comes with a LOA from Tom Matte.
