Baltimore running back Tom Matte was presented with this official Wilson “The Duke” game used football following the Colts 49-7 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta, GA on November 12, 1967. Matte had an outstanding game with 93 yards on the ground and 95 yards receiving, rushing for two touchdowns and catching a third on a 64-yard reception from Johnny Unitas. Handwritten details in faded black marker on one of the blank lower panels of the football read “Colts 49 Atlanta 7 Nov. 12, 1967 Presented to Tom Matte”. On the blank panel next to this is signed and inscribed “Tom Matte ‘1967’ vs. Atlanta” in silver paint pen. The football comes with a signed player LOA from Tom Matte.
