Among more than 7,800 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting, just over a hundred examples (less than two percent of the total census) have been placed at a higher, unqualified tier. Even though his great career was beginning to wind down by that point, 1967 saw Mickey Mantle reach home run number 500. The offered card, from that special year, is very fresh with an abundance of gloss. All four corners are sharp and exhibit almost no wear, and the reverse is clean with a solidly printed green background. Near Mint to Mint condition.
