Graded GEM MT 10 by PSA. Hall of Famer. This is one of just two examples at its tier among a total of nearly 3,000 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting. This card is a perennial favorite among hobbyists. The item features a well-focused portrait of Clemente accented by his facsimile signature, attributes that combine to provide a very visual collectible of the Pittsburgh legend. The front of this brightly colored card is thoroughly pleasing to the eye. Its crystal-clear photograph, framed by a clear white border, interacts marvelously with the familiar captioning embellishments. With its sharp corners and original gloss, this example is absolutely pack fresh. The design is well centered and there are no print anomalies. The back complements the front admirably, with deep green and black print. Many observers of the game felt that Clemente was in a class of his own, and this 1967 Topps card shares that elite status.
