When Punch Imlach took over the General Manager duties on the late 1950s, the Toronto Maple Leafs was mired in last place. He was a shrewd trade master, and his Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup three straight seasons form 1962-64 and again in 1967. That is four titles in six years. After that last Stanley Cup championship, Punch was presented with this Birks 10K gold ring. The top features a 65-point diamond set in a maple leaf design, surrounded on the perimeter with “STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS” in raised relief. One shank has the name “TORONTO” and their recent Stanley Cup years of “1962 1963 1964 1967”, while the other shank simply has a raised replica of The Cup. Inside the band of this size 11/17 gram ring is engraved “Punch Imlach”. This is a tremendous ring presented to the architect of the Toronto Maple Leaf 1960s mini-dynasty. Excellent overall condition.
