Don Drysdale got the nod to start the 1968 All-Star Game at the Astrodome and promptly pitched three shutout innings of 1-hit ball. Big Don got the win for the game, the last of his nine All-Star appearances. Drysdale’s Hillerich & Bradsby D145 model bat has been made game ready and is un-cracked. The barrel has the custom stamped “ALL STAR GAME 1968 HOUSTON” and the model number “R203” is stamped into the knob and “Drysdale’s number “53” and “ALL STAR” is handwritten in pencil. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16012) for the game ready use and a Letter of Provenance from the widow of Don Drysdale.
