Encapsulated and graded NM-MT 8 by BVG, with signature graded "10" by BGS/JSA. Hall of Famer, in his Rookie Card appearance. An outstanding blue marker signature ("Abdul Jabbar") decorates the lower obverse of this otherwise unmarked, early career gum card picturing a young Lew Alcindor. The 7-foot-2-inch center depicted on this vintage Topps card (and identified on the piece by his birth name) went on to rule the NBA for 20 seasons. This is a superbly attractive example of an especially desirable basketball signature. Near Mint to Mint condition.
