All-Time Hit King Pete Rose led the league in hits twice during the labeling period (1970-1972) for this Hillerich & Bradsby S222 Pete Rose professional model bat, with 205 hits in 1970 and 198 in 1972. While the finish has been removed from the bat’s barrel, multiple cleat marks, dings and stitch impressions remain. The model number S222 is stamped into the knob overlapped by a letter P in black stencil which might mean the bat was used by pitchers or perhaps just Pete. A PSA/DNA sticker is affixed to the worn-down barrel top of this 36-inch, 35.9-ounce bat which also comes with a PSA/DNA letter of authenticity.
