Presented is a collection of boxing tickets for notable matches from the period 1977 through 2017, and featuring Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes and Mike Tyson, among others. The Tyson ticket has been signed by the former heavyweight champion. The first item in this collection is a ticket stub from September 29, 1977, when Muhammad Ali and Earnie Shavers fought each other in a 15-round boxing match at Madison Square Garden. The fight went the full distance with Ali emerging the winner through a unanimous decision, retaining his World Heavyweight Championship title. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (41792011) and is graded PR 1.

The second item in this collection is a ticket stub from Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, the Vito Antuofermo vs. Alan Minter World Middleweight Championship bout on March 16, 1980. Antuofermo lost his title in a 15-round split decision. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (28634777) and is graded FR 1.5. The third item in this collection is a full ticket (red variation) from the June 11, 1982 WBC World Heavyweight Championship bout between Larry Holmes and Gerry Cooney at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Holmes retained his title with a 13th round TKO of Cooney. This full ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (28634780) and is graded EX 5.

The fourth item in this collection is a ticket stub from the IBF Featherweight Boxing Championship fight between Jorge Páez and Troy Dorsey, February 4, 1990 at the Las Vegas Hilton. Dorsey, a former kickboxer, challenged Páez for the IBF World Featherweight but lost on a controversial 12-round split decision. This full ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (28634778) and is graded VG-EX 4 (MK). The fifth item in this collection is a full ticket for the Mike Tyson vs. Donovan “Razor” Ruddock “rematch” at The Mirage in Las Vegas, held June 28, 1991, and has been signed by Tyson. Three months earlier, Tyson and Ruddock, who were boxing's number one and two ranked heavyweights respectively, had fought each other to determine who would next face the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield. Mike Tyson was awarded the victory via a controversial 7th-round technical knockout. Tyson floored Ruddock twice on the way to a unanimous 12-round decision. Tyson has signed the ticket in blue marker in the lower third beneath his photograph.  Tyson’s signature has been authenticated by PSA/DNA (AE 40929).  This full ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (42171791) and is graded EX 5 AUTO 10.

The sixth item in this collection is a ticket stub from the Julio Cesar Chavez vs. Oscar De La Hoya fight at Caesar’s Palace on June 7, 1996. The undefeated De La Hoya had already won world titles in two divisions and was looking to capture a third world title in a third weight class at only 23–years old. The 33–year old Chavez, meanwhile, was entering his 100th fight and still possessed one of the most impressive records in boxing history, having gone 97–1–1 and capturing four world titles in three divisions in his 16–year career. The fight lasted less than four rounds. Only one minute into round one, De La Hoya connected with a straight right hand that opened up a huge gash around Chavez' eye. The fight was temporally halted not even a minute later as the cut had become severe enough for the referee Joe Cortez to stop the action and allow Chavez to find a towel. Though Chavez was able to continue, he was unable to get any momentum and was dominated by De La Hoya for the remainder of the fight. In round four, as Chavez was finally mounting some offense, De La Hoya took control of the latter stages of the round and brutalized Chavez with a series of hard combinations and broke Chavez' nose with a left hook. As the cut around his eye had deteriorated even further, Cortez halted the fight once again and sent him to ringside physician Flip Homansky. Homansky then informed Cortez that Chavez could not continue due to the multiple lacerations to his face and De La Hoya was awarded with the TKO victory at 2:37 of the fourth round. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (41626801) and is graded AUTHENTIC.

The seventh item in this collection is a ticket stub from the Oscar De La Hoya vs. Fernando Vargas “Bad Blood” title match, September 14, 2002 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. On the line were De La Hoya's WBC and lineal super welterweight (light–middleweight) championships, Vargas' WBA super welterweight championship, and the vacant “The Ring” light–middleweight championship. In the 11th round, De La Hoya continued to attack Vargas and with just over a minute gone by, sent him down with a left hook. Vargas got up and continued with the fight, but De La Hoya continued his assault, eventually getting Vargas into a corner and unleashing a flurry of punches. As Vargas was not offering much resistance, the referee stepped in and stopped the fight at 1:48, giving De La Hoya the victory by technical knockout. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (28634783) and is graded VG-EX 4. The eighth item in this collection is a full ticket from May 6, 2017, Canelo Alvarez vs. Julio César Chávez Jr. at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Álvarez was declared the winner by unanimous decision. He retained his WBO light middleweight championship, as well as the Ring magazine and lineal middleweight championship titles. This full ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (28230129) and is graded AUTHENTIC.
