Widely regarded as baseball’s true home run king, Hank Aaron hit 755 home runs over his illustrious 23-year career. Even 40 years after his retirement, Aaron still holds numerous records, including most career RBI and total bases. Aaron, the 1957 National League MVP, was selected to 21 All-Star teams. He finished his career with an incredible 3,771 hits, 2,297 RBI, and a .305 batting average. Aaron was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982, on his first ballot.
Aaron wore this navy Atlanta Braves hat with a red brim at some period between the 1966 and 1968 seasons. He inscribed his number, “44,” underneath the brim. No size is indicated, but the cap is in an acceptable range for this period of Aaron’s career. It shows heavy game use and comes with a MEARS LOA.
