After his super-human batting and fielding performance in the 1970 World Series, frustrated Reds manager Sparky Anderson told a sportswriter "If I dropped this paper plate, he'd pick it up on one hop and throw me out at first". No man was better at fielding the hot corner than Brooks and his timely hitting and veteran perspective on the game helped keep Baltimore a perennial contender from the mid 1960's into the mid 70's. The Adirondack model 246RA bat is un-cracked and displays light use. Several ball marks with stitch imprints can be seen on the barrel. The bat's weight "31" is written in black ink on the knob along with Robinson's immortal number "5". The O's superstar has signed the bat's barrel below his stamped endorsement in black marker. Letter of Authenticity 1B08962 from PSA/DNA.
