After his super-human batting and fielding performance in the 1970 World Series, frustrated Reds manager Sparky Anderson told a sportswriter "If I dropped this paper plate, he'd pick it up on one hop and throw me out at first". In the history of the Orioles franchise there was never a better man at playing the hot corner than Brooks. Besides his fielding Robinson ignited the team with his leadership and winning attitude, two things championship clubs need but that mere stats cannot convey. Brooks used this Adirondack 320B model bat during the early 1970’s, seasons in which the Orioles claimed several division titles. It displays excellent use and is un-cracked. Several ball marks with stitch impressions are visible along the barrel and green bat rack paint streaks are visible as well. Pine tar coats the handle and the model number “320B” is stamped into the knob end. Best of all, the greatest third baseman in Orioles history has signed the barrel in black marker just below his stamped endorsement. A great game used bat from the greatest third baseman in Baltimore history. Letter of Authentication (1B09133) from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a GU 8.5.
