A great bat straddling Reggie's greatest years. During the years 1971 to 1979 from which this bat dates, Reggie "stirred the drink" on a staggering five World Championship teams. His clutch hitting matched by his brash attitude made him the player fans, sportswriters, managers and owners loved to hate. Jackson's 1970's numbers and exploits made him a can't-miss Hall of Famer. Reggie's Adirondack model 288RJ bat shows no evidence of game use and is un-cracked. The barrel exhibits scuffing from general handling. The model number "288RJ" is stamped into the knob end and the weight is hand written in black ink. Jackson's number "44" and "NY" is hand written in black marker on the knob end and his number is repeated on the barrel end. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in blue marker adding "44" and "1974". Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA and JSA.
