     The 1972 Oakland Athletics got the ball rolling on what would be three consecutive World Series titles. The A’s finished the 1972 season with a 93-62 record, winning the American League Western Division title. After beating the Detroit Tigers in a hard-fought five-game ALCS, the A’s defeated the Cincinnati Reds in seven-game battle to capture the World Series. 27 members of the Oakland Athletics have signed this Official American League Joseph E. Cronin baseball. Manager and Hall of Famer Dick Williams signed his name in blue pen across the sweet spot. Other signatures include Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson, Bert Campaneris, Joe Rudi, Bob Locker, Ted Kubiak, Gene Tenace, Ken Holtzman, Jerry Adair, Brant Alyea, Bill Voss, Gary Waslewski, Bill Posedel and several others. This baseball displays light toning and the signatures have been signed in blue and black ink. This baseball comes pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
