Finishing 57 – 25 earned the 1973 Knicks second-place in the NBA Atlantic Division and a berth in the post-season against first round opponent, the Baltimore Bullets. Red Holzman’s roster included future Hall of Famers Bill Bradley, Walt Frazier, Jerry Lucas, Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, Dave DeBusschere and Willis Reed. With that lineup, it’s not hard to understand why the Knicks beat the Bullets, then the Celtics (in seven games) and finally, the L.A Lakers in a five-game series to win the NBA title. This replica Spalding Official Game Ball has been signed in bold, black Sharpie by six of those Hall-of-Fame, NBA-Champion Knicks. Coach Red Holzman signed just above the Spalding crest. On the panels above him Willis Reed, Bill Bradley, Walt Frazier, Earl Monroe, and Dave DeBusschere autographed the ball. Comes with an Upper Deck Authenticated hologram and the signatures have also been pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
