Former Major League pitcher Craig Swan had a 12-year career, where he pitched mostly with the New York Mets. Swan led the National League in ERA during the 1978 season at 2.43 in 207.1 innings pitched. Swan started five games for the Mets in 1974 and wore this size 46 Rawlings jersey during that season.
This button down light gray road jersey features “Mets” sewn on across the front in blue and orange tackle twill and his number “27” sewn on the front left chest. Blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. The Rawlings tag is sewn on the bottom front right tail and Swan signed his name on the bottom front left tail in light blue marker. The back of the jersey has “27” sewn on the back in blue and orange tackle twill and a silver team tag is sewn on the inside back collar that reads “46 74 27”. The left sleeve has the circular Mets skyline logo patch and the jersey displays moderate wear with minor stains. This jersey comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C03616) for the signature and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
