Presented is a 12-card complete set of exceptionally scarce 1974 Topps Test Puzzles plus an envelope/wrapper. These exceptionally scarce "Topps Puzzles" were released on a restricted, test issue basis in 1974, and they're always hungrily sought-after by specialists. Constructed of thick cardboard and cut into 40-piece, "jigsaw" patterns measuring about 5" x 7", the blank-backed collectibles form a truly impressive display of Topps' creativity. The sets roster of barely circulated players include: Hank Aaron, Dick Allen, Johnny Bench, Bobby Bonds, Bob Gibson, Reggie Jackson, Bobby Murcer, Jim Palmer, Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, Willie Stargell and Carl Yastrzemski. The Allen and Ryan examples are narrow and lack their right borders. The set presents mostly at the NM level. A very scarce and desirable issue.
