Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits.
This offered yellow Pittsburgh Pirates helmet was worn by Randolph’s teammate Manny Sanguillen during the 1975 season. Randolph made his Major League debut with the Pirates in 1975. This helmet displays outstanding game use. The shell of the helmet is yellow and the brim is black. The Pirates “P” is stickered on the front in black. Sanguillen’s number “35” is stickered on the back in black rectangular stickers with the numbers printed in yellow. The helmet is a size 7 3/8 and manufactured by American Baseball Cap (ABC). A great mid-1970’s Pirates helmet. This item derives from the collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany this item.
