Offered is a 1976 to 2008 Yankee Stadium seat pair, from the period after the mid-1970s renovation of Yankee Stadium (originally completed in 1923). The 12 x 32 x 44-inch navy-blue plastic and Columbia-blue iron seats feature 15 x 18-inch deep fold-down seats. The seats are number “3” and “4” in black silk-screened on silver metal in the upper right front of each seat. The renovations of the original Yankee Stadium began at the end of the 1973 season, due to the condition of the facility deteriorating throughout the 1960s and early 1970s. The renovation, through 1975, significantly altered the appearance of the venue and reduced the distance of the outfield fences. Yankee Stadium re-opened for the 1976 Major League Baseball season and closed at the end of the 2008 season. It was demolished in 2010.
