Offered is a multi-signed baseball with 18 Hall of Famers (19 signed with one Hall of Famer signing twice) that JSA has determined came from the 1976 National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction. Robin Roberts and Bob Lemon were inducted to the Hall in 1976 and both immortals have signed this Official Charles S. Feeney National League baseball. Freddie Lindstrom and Stan Covelski have signed there names on the sweet spot in bold blue pen. The west panel with the Spalding stamp has the blue pen signatures of Warren Spahn, Earl Averill and 1976 inductee Bob Lemon. The east panel has the blue pen signatures Bill Terry (signed “Wm H Bill Terry), 1976 inductee Robin Roberts, Jocko Conlan, Bob Feller and Rube Marquard, whose signature runs across the stitching and onto the adjacent panel.
The north panel has the signatures of George L. Kelly and Lloyd Waner in blue pen, with the signature of Carl Hubbard in black marker and Burleigh Grimes (signed “BA Grimes”) in light black ink. The south panel has another signature of Bill Terry (signed “Wm H Bill Terry) and Buck Leonard in light black ink and Early Wynn, Joe Cronin and Ralph Kiner in blue pen. The signatures on this baseball are solid, with only a couple appearing light, but still readable. The stampings are only slightly faded, but are certainly readable and presentable. The ball itself displays only minor toning given its age. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (X01940).
