Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this clock award for leading the NBA in blocked shots average during the 1978-79 NBA season. Abdul-Jabbar averaged 23.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and a league-leading 4.0 blocks per game. This clock is mounted on an 18 x 12-inch wooden display, while the clock measures 8.5 x 8.5 inches. A statuette of a basketball player is mounted to the display, along with a 2.5-inch diameter NBA seal. A plaque on this display reads “Kareem Abdul-Jabbar / Los Angeles Lakers / NBA Blocked Shots Champion / 1978 – 79”. This item derives directly from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a personally hand-signed LOA from Kareem will accompany this item.
