The 1978 season is perhaps best remembered as Rick Leach's senior year, when the two-sport sensation passed for 1,200 yards, rushed for 600 yards and put 29 TDs on the board. He won Big Ten MVP honors and finished third in Heisman voting. Drafted by both the Broncos and Tigers, he embarked on a decade-long MLB career. Manufactured by Jostens, this 10K-gold, size 12 ring was bestowed upon Leach's teammate, tight end Chuck Christian. It features a wonderful stadium-shaped face with a gold "M" inlaid in a blue stone, as well as nice shank designs including the Wolverine mascot. NM condition. LOA from TJ's Memorabilia.
