The 1978 Yankees were the second of back-to-back World Series Champions for George Steinbrenner’s team. This Yankee triumph is ideally demonstrated in this Press Pin which was dispensed to a media guest attending the Yankee games of that World Series. This is a Balfour production – performing at their finest with red, white and blue enamel, the historic Yankee Stadium façade and trimmed in gold. On the face is the “Yankees” logo with star-spangled hat and “32nd WORLD SERIES.” As to be expected, the piece was fashioned to affix with a conventional threaded post and nut – both considerations are here original and unaltered. The reverse has light tarnishing, and the “BALFOUR” engraving, and remains in excellent condition.
