Baseball’s strikeout king Nolan Ryan has signed and inscribed the dates of his record seven no-hitters on multiple panels on this Official American League Lee MacPhail baseball. A devastating power pitcher, Ryan collected 5,714 strikeouts across his MLB career, which spanned from 1966 to 1993. A member of the 300 Win Club, Ryan was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999. Ryan signed his name on the sweet spot in blue pen. On the south panel he inscribed “#1 5/15/73 K.C. – 3-0” and “TOTAL STRIKE OUTS 1/1/88 4547”. The east panel has inscribed “#2 7/15/73 DET. – 6-0 #7”. The north panel has “#3 9/28/74 MINN. – 4-0”. The west panel has “#4 6/15/75 BALT. – 1-0” and “#6 6-11/90 OAK – 5-0”. The stamped sweet spot has “#5 9/26/81 L.A – 5-0”. This ball displays toning, but the signature and inscriptions are clear.
