Few baseball players combined talent and athleticism as well as Dave Winfield. One of the select few men to have been drafted into MLB, the NBA, and the NFL, Winfield was an all-around star on the diamond. With 465 home runs and over 3,000 hits, there was not a weakness in Winfield’s game. Perhaps best known for his time with the San Diego Padres, Winfield was the franchise’s first All-Star and Hall of Fame inductee.

Winfield wore these Puma cleats during the early 1980s, likely between 1980 and 1984. Winfield joined the Yankees in 1981, and proceeded to turn himself into one of the most dangerous outfielders in the game, and was named an All-Star every season until 1988. The cleats are made of black and white leather, and the soles are rubber with stainless steel spikes. These cleats display excellent evidence of game use, and are consistent with the style of cleat Winfield wore during the time period. Winfield’s number “31” is written on the underside of each tongue. These size 12 cleats come with a LOA from JT Sports.
