As the oldest continuous one-name, one-city franchise in American sports, the Philadelphia Phillies have a long and rich history dotted sparsely with championships. It took the Phillies 77 years to win their first World Series, in 1980, but that Phillies’ team is beloved even by people who did not see their championship. Featuring players like Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, and Tug McGraw, the 1980 Phillies were a team for the record books.

Offered here is a Louisville Slugger commemorative bat signed by members of the 1980 Phillies. Signees include Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Pete Rose, Tug McGraw, Bake McBride, Larry Bowa, Bob Boone, Garry Maddox, Greg Luzinski, and many more. The signatures are written in blue Sharpie pen. This tan bat features the engraved text “1980 World Champions Philadelphia Phillies.” This comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
