To ring in the new decade, Topps went with an understated and classic design for their flagship release in 1980. At 726 cards, the set is massive, and contains all the biggest stars and fan-favorite players of the day, including Nolan Ryan, Pete Rose, Carl Yastrzemski, Ozzie Smith, and so many more. The real standout of the set is card number 482, the rookie of Oakland Athletics Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson. Over the next 25 seasons, Henderson would go to 10 All-Star games, win two World Championships, and become the all-time leader in stolen bases and runs.
