New York Yankees coach Jeff Torborg wore this gray Yankees road jersey during the 1981 season. Torborg, who would later manage the Indians, White Sox, Mets, Expos, and Marlins, has signed the chest of this jersey in black pen. Please note that the Elston Howard memorial armband is no longer present on the left sleeve. This size “44” jersey comes with a LOA from MEARS, who have graded it a near-perfect A9.
