Presented here is a Los Angeles Dodgers warm-up pullover jacket worn by Orel Hershiser during the 1983 and 1984 seasons and signed by the 1988 NL Cy Young and 1988 World Series MVP. Hershiser made his MLB debut in 1983 and played in 8 games, and posted an ERA of 3.38 with 5 strikeouts. 1984 saw the feared right-hander post a record of 11-8 with an ERA of 2.66 with 150 strikeouts. The presented warm-up jacket is blue polyester and features white stripes on the blue sleeves and collar. “DODGERS” in cursive Dodger tackle twill with a paraph appears across the chest of the warm-up jacket. The number “55” in red Dodger tackle twill appears on the front of the jacket. A W. Goodman & Sons size “46” manufacturer’s tag appears on the inside collar. “HERSHISHER” appears across the back of the jacket in white Dodger tackle twill. The number “55” appears on the back of the jacket in white Dodger tackle twill. Hershiser signed across the front of the warm-up jacket with a silver metallic paint pen. The signature is bold, and the jacket contains wear on the collar, sleeves, and minor white stains on the jacket's chest. The game used and signed Los Angeles Dodgers warm-up jacket signed by Orel Hershiser and worn during the 1983-84 seasons comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA (AC01296) and an LOA from Beckett Authentication.
