The 1983 Texas Longhorns won the College World Series by defeated Alabama in the title game and also boasted some future Major League talent, including pitcher Roger Clemens. Offered is a “SOUVENIR BALL NCAA College World Series” stamped baseball that features the black marker signatures of 17 members of that championship Longhorns team. On the sweet spot is hand written “Texas Longhorns 1983 National Champs”. The side panel beneath the sweet spot has Roger Clemens’ signature beneath the signings of Kirk Killingsworth, Wade Phillips and Eric Boudreaux. The side panel with a red “DIAMOND” stamp features the signatures of Bryan Burrows, Mike Brumley, Jamie Doughty, Deron Gustafson and Calvin Schiraldi. The panel with a red “OMAHA” stamp has the signatures of Michael Trent, Bill Bates, Johnny Sutton, David Denny, Alan Brown and Bud Ray. The last panel above the sweet spot contains the signatures of Doug Hodo and Jose Tolentino. This multi-signed baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07700).
